But sometimes it’s better to let the big one go so it can spawn,- and save the yearling’s (10-14 inchers)for your meal.-just an observation ..I moved from Western NY to NE. ohio and w/ the water’s the way they are have always been told” the big one’s might be tainted from being everywhere +being older= not so tasty” .just a thought/opinion once in a while I’ll keep a nice one lol -easier to fillet and ha! make for good pl8 prese
i dont know man … i dont know man whether u are nymphing or dry fy fishing the drift is a very important part of it so i wouldnt say that only casting matters. plus theyre is the aquatic entemological expertise needed to know what flies to use
fly-fishing … fly-fishing requires no additional skill, fly-casting does. Anyway, if you want to catch fish with relatively no skill, no clue and no desire, or passion, stick with the powerbait and worms. fly-casting is not always about the fish, they are just a bonus.
does it take practice? yes, but all the good things in life take effort or everybody would be doing it.

Flyfishing gives a … Flyfishing gives a new kind of feeling, If you use a dry fly, Just to see the fish jump up. Gives you somekind of rush, that makes you just wanna do it over and over. The rod gives you a better chance to feel the fish, so you got a harder fight too. If, you go for trout.
I love it, Stopped with Reel fishing after 1 month.
Please tell me why. … Please tell me why. I don’t know much about fishing, but I heard on survivor man that most cattlemen who work the front ranges always carry a flyrod incase they are lost.
I was wondering if this was because you catch fish quicker and easier with flyrod VS. spinning reels, or was the equipment simply easier to transport while on horseback?
Plus: I need to learn the fastest way to land fish because for now I suck.
