What family guy episode is it where they show aquaman "abusing his powers"?

Posted by admin on February 6th, 2010 and filed under saltwater fishing guide | 1 Comment »

I’m looking for this scene:

"Hey, uh, can you, uh, grab me another beer?"

"Uh, yeah. Anything else? Maybe, uh, you know, a TV Guide, maybe-maybe another pillow for your feet–"

"UH actually, you–actually, you know what, get me, like a Duer’s n’ Soda. And uh, you know, uh, try to keep the saltwater out of it, if you could."

"Try to kee-Try to keep the saltwater–"

"Yeah."

We’re surrounded by saltwater, you know, I don’t thi–"

"I know, I’m just sa-I’m just sayi-I’m just saying ‘try’."

"Yeah, OK, I’ll try." The fish was becoming aggravated. "You want me to wipe your ass, too?"

"Oh wow, that’s a helpful tone."

"Yeah, I’m just saying, you know, you’re kind of abusing your powers, don’t you think–"

"You know what–You know what, actually, this is all time that could be spent getting me my beverage."
Nevermind I found it. It’s Season 4, Episode 17 (The Father, the Son and the Holy Fonz.) @ 0:35 mins.. very beginning of the episode if you’re interested.

Aquaman makes an appearance in the episode,
"The Father, the Son, and the Holy Fonz".
Season: 4 Episode: 18
The episode opens with the Griffins watching Aquaman’s tv show. He attempts to use his powers to convince a fish to get him a beer, who resists and claims that he is abusing his powers. They begin to argue about it until Aquaman says that this time could’ve been used to get him a beer

Converting my freshwater tank into a saltwater tank? What are the basics that I would need? Tips?

Posted by admin on November 26th, 2009 and filed under saltwater fishing guide | 4 Comments »

Ok so I have a successful community freshwater tank. I work full time so but always aim to spend as much time as possible keeping the tank and fish in good condition. I have decided (as selfish as it seems) that I want something a bit more exciting and varied and would love to try a saltwater tank. My local pet shop has some stunning saltwater fish and accessories which I would love to have. I have plenty of money saved but I need to know

- What are the basics I would need to convert the tank (accessories, medications etc)
- How much harder is the upkeep of a saltwater tank
- Would you say saltwater fish are more susceptible to illness/death or are they the same as freshwater
- And If possible could you give me a basic step by step guide to convert the tank

Any answers much appreciated,

Cheers :)

A marine fish tank is much harder to set up and maintain, the strength of the salt is paramount, and you might have difficulties in converting a tank from fresh to salt water. I tried to keep marine fish once, but even though I followed all the instructions, all that happened was that the fish all died within 5 days. costly given the cost of the marine fish. Go to a SPECIALIST shop and get information there, or look for info online. A pet shop is there to sell you the fish, and don’t forget, if they have problems with them dying or getting disease, they just throw the dead and diseased one s out, and hope to sell the others before they succumb.
