Runescape questions and tips for low levels (noobs) and ownage clans to help show you around runescape =)?

Posted by admin on February 8th, 2010 and filed under fishing guide trips | 4 Comments »

Hi i’ve been playing runescape for quite some time now and i just wanna see if its still poplular? Well anyway, here are some tips to help out noobs for non members and members. Hope this helps………… =)

~<>~NOOB MAKING MONEY GUIDE~<>~

Okay so here are some ways to make money for some noobs (non members),

Mining-Mining is a good way for noob to get money because it is good exp and is omost found everywhere.

Ways of mining-

Once you get 47( i think) you can mine gold ore, this is good money because it is 482 gp at g e max price. (at the moment 1/9/09 at 5:36 pm eastern time zone. A full pack (28 items) is worth 13,496coins. Once you get higher mining which is up to rune and adamant, the mining for the higher section is east of god wars dungeon.(upper section)

Now for woodcutting

~<>~WOODCUTTING NOOB GUIDE~<>~

Okay so you hopefully read through the mining section and if that doesnt work then here is the woodcutting section.

Ways of money for woodcutter’[s]- Cutting oak trees at lv 15wc or woodcutting is okay money and just put in bank, but once you get 30 you get willows and for 45(members) there are maple which is located in seer’s village. But the most best way for noob woodcutters is Yew Trees.I’m sure you heard yew trees being pretty good money, if so then do it.(yew trees are about 13k per pack and 480 per.

~<>~FISHING NOOB GUIDE~<>~

Fishing is great money for noobs expecially for the noobs who play a lot.

Fishing ways of money-Once you get 40fishing you can fish lobsters which is fairly good money. I recomend 50+ then the lobsters come much more faster. Also at 50fishing you can fish swordies which is also good money.

[]~[]~[]~[]~That contains the non member section[]~[]~[]~[]~[]

Here is the noob section for MEMBERS!!W00T!

Pure essence- req is 30mining and rune mysteries quest finished.(access to mage teleport.) This is better than gold ore so i suggust you do this instead. =/

Green drags- This is not for noobs only the noobs who are daring to try it. You can find green dragons in lv 14 in the wildy or lv 22 in the wildy. This is a great way of making money and you get about 50k per trip and about 4 or 3 trips a hour.

That contains the guide for the runescape tips and blah stuff. so i hope yall injoyed it. =) Ifyou wish to add my user it is, Spiderpig11w, my private is usually off, so tell me if you wish to add me. =)

Mike is right, this isn’t a question… I think what you’re looking for is a forum.

Oh, and you’re… Well, technically you’re right, but you’ve just coughed up what you can find out on the stats menu ingame. Anything extra that you’ve added is just what’s said on guides on sites like tip.it, runehq etc.

I bet I could rewrite this in no time at all and make it better. How about giving tips, not just information? For example, the woodcutting section… You said cut willows at 30, and didn’t even mention a level for yews. That’s right, but a "noob" shouldn’t do that – they should wait for 5+ more levels, since that’s typically when things start to speed up. Since I’m somewhat of a geek when it comes to RS, I would recommend 35+ for willows and 70+ for yews – it’s as simple as that.

Aside from all of these you should at least give SOME warning about your dragon theory. What about warning of revs? What about the fact that you need to be half decent at combat to do this method…

Don’t take this the wrong way but this guide is, well stupid. One thing I would do before you post any kind of guide is do your research. Taking the first line in the mining section ‘( i think)’ – CHECK. It takes less than a minute, and makes you guide all that more respectable.

which computer class???

I found an autominer that actually works! even with the new updates (fatigue).
Get it from http://runescaperelax.tripod.com. It works by recording your clicks,
it will mine a full load of ore for you and then take it to the bank, then go to
a bed and rest for you. It will also smelt, smith and fish. I mined 1000 coal in
one day using this thing!

If you have access to the members world, go to Ardounge and enter the house next to
the cake stall. (This door needs a certain theiving level, if you are not yet of
sufficient level go to the opposite house, and train on the door there and the chest
inside.) When inside the house, to the right of the door is a ladder. Go up this
ladder, and you will see two chests. In the chest farthest away from the ladder, and
nearest the bed is Nature Runes. Keep stealing from the chest and you will get lots
of Nature Runes. At current Runescape prices Nature Runes are around 100-300gp. If
you are unable to access members world, dont worry. Go north of Falador untill you
rach the mountain. go round the left hand side of the mountain so that you have the
Goblin Viallge on you left. Keep going up untill you reach the Wilderness. At level
3 Wilderness there is a Dark Wizard spawning site. Collect runes here and sell them
in Falador.

SON OF A BITCH FISH

The parish priest went on a fishing trip. On the last day of his trip he
hooked a monster fish and proceeded to reel it in.
The guide, holding a net, yelled, "Look at the size of that Son of a Bitch!"
"Son, I’m a priest. Your language is uncalled for!"
"No, Father, that’s what kind of fish it is — a Son of a Bitch fish!"
"Really? Well, then, help me land this Son of a Bitch!"
Once in the boat, they marveled at the size of the monster.
"Father, that’s the biggest Son of a Bitch I’ve ever seen."
"Yes, it is a big Son of a Bitch. What should I do with it?"
"Why, eat it of course. You’ve never tasted anything as good as
Son of a Bitch!"
Elated, the priest headed home to the rectory.
While unloading his gear and his prize catch, Sister Mary inquired about his trip.
"Take a look at this big Son of a Bitch I caught!"
Sister Mary gasped and clutched her rosary, "Father!"
"It’s OK, Sister. That’s what kind of fish it is — a Son of a Bitch fish!"
"Oh, well then, what are you going to do with that big Son of a Bitch?"
"Why, eat it of course. The guide said nothing compares to the taste of a
Son of a Bitch."
Sister Mary informed the priest that the new Bishop was scheduled to visit
in a few days and that they should fix the Son of a Bitch for his dinner.
"I’ll even clean the Son of a Bitch," she said.
As she was cleaning the huge fish, the Friar walked in.
"What are you doing Sister?"
"Father wants me to clean this big Son of a Bitch for the new Bishop’s dinner."
"Sister! I’ll clean it if you’re so upset! Please watch your language!"
"No, no, no, it’s called a Son of a Bitch fish."
"Really? Well, in that case, I’ll fix up a great meal to go with it,
and that Son of a Bitch can be the main course!"
"Let me know when you’ve finished cleaning that Son of a Bitch."
On the night of the new Bishop’s visit, everything was perfect. The Friar
had prepared an excellent meal. The wine was fine, and the fish was excellent.
The new Bishop said, "This is great fish, where did you get it?"
"I caught that Son of a Bitch!" proclaimed the proud priest.
"And I cleaned the Son of a Bitch!" exclaimed the Sister.
The Friar added, "And I prepared the Son of a Bitch, using a special recipe!"
The new Bishop looked around at each of them.
A big smile crept across his face as he said,
"You fuckers are my kind of people!"

Made me laugh!

Martinique

About the country:
Martinique is an island between the Caribbean sea and North Atlantice Ocean of Trinidad and Tobago.
The climate is tropical. The temperature is 17.3 C, and it’s humid. Martinique also has a dormant volcano, named Mont Pelee.

The best time to go to Martinique is during February to May, when temperatures are about 85 degrees F. Keep in mind that this is the peak tourist season, so everything is expensive and crowded.

Among the sightseeing attractions is the city’s architectural masterpiece, the Bibliothèque Schoelcher, or Schoelcher Library, a Romanesque-Byzantine gem built 100 years ago for the Paris Exposition of 1889, then dismantled and shipped to Martinique mosaic by mosaic. Named for Victor Schoelcher, the French abolitionist whose work helped end slavery on the island in 1848, it sits just off La Savane, the central park.
The capital’s narrow balconied streets, lined with shops and restaurants, all lead to a pleasant discoveries, including the Cathedral of Saint-Louis, the Palais de Justice with its statue of Victor Schœlcher, the Musée Départemental with archeological finds from prehistoric Martinique and the Rivière Madame with its busy fish markets. There are reasonably-priced guided walking tours of Fort-de-France if you would like to learn more about he city.

"Uh, yeah. Anything else? Maybe, uh, you know, a TV Guide, maybe-maybe another pillow for your feet–"

"UH actually, you–actually, you know what, get me, like a Duer’s n’ Soda. And uh, you know, uh, try to keep the saltwater out of it, if you could."

"Try to kee-Try to keep the saltwater–"

"I know, I’m just sa-I’m just sayi-I’m just saying ‘try’."

"Yeah, OK, I’ll try." The fish was becoming aggravated. "You want me to wipe your ass, too?"

"Oh wow, that’s a helpful tone."

"Yeah, I’m just saying, you know, you’re kind of abusing your powers, don’t you think–"

"You know what–You know what, actually, this is all time that could be spent getting me my beverage."
Nevermind I found it. It’s Season 4, Episode 17 (The Father, the Son and the Holy Fonz.) @ 0:35 mins.. very beginning of the episode if you’re interested.

Aquaman makes an appearance in the episode,
"The Father, the Son, and the Holy Fonz".
Season: 4 Episode: 18
The episode opens with the Griffins watching Aquaman’s tv show. He attempts to use his powers to convince a fish to get him a beer, who resists and claims that he is abusing his powers. They begin to argue about it until Aquaman says that this time could’ve been used to get him a beer

What’s the significance of the tip guide on a fishing rod?

Posted by admin on February 6th, 2010 and filed under fishing guide | 2 Comments »

I’m talking about the guide at the tip of the rod?
thanks

The main difference between it and the other guides is it’s at the tip of the rod. That means there is more potential friction (with the line) there than anywhere else, since the line usually enters it at a greater angle than it goes through the other guides. On offshore rods, the tip is often equipped with a roller (even if the rest of the guides are ring guides) as this reduces wear on the line. On lighter rods, the ring on the tip should be made of the toughest material available, to resist grooving and to reduce line friction.

Also, it is generally mounted onto the end of the rod rather than held on with wrapping thread the way the other guides are. This is so there is no stub of the rod blank protuding above it, which can lead to tangles. It also makes it easy to replace if it’s damaged or broken off.
